#AadhaarMakesItEasy

Adhaar is an important document. Aadhaar is not a piece of paper it is the identity of each and every Indian. I talked to people in different walks of life about their experience in living with an Aadhaar and I really got very positive feedback.

I really wanted to share one memorable incident with you which I experienced a few weeks ago. Me and my family had to go on an international trip on a short notice to Hong Kong Disneyland as part of contest winning but unfortunately our passports had expired very recently  and after winning it we had to travel with in the period of 30 days.  Me and my kids  were really very upset as we wanted to desperately take this opportunity of a magical Disney experience.  We applied and enquired from the passport authorities about the passport renewal process. They informed us that now passport renewal is very easy and can be done just in 10 days if someone is holding Aadhaar Card. Luckily we all were holding valid Aadhaar cards and it helped us immensely to get our passports renewed on time.
I arranged all documents including my Aadhaar card and got an appointment in just 2 days and at the time of submission of documents I also submitted Aadhaar cards of both of my kids. They approved our passport renewal without police verification on basis of our Aadhaar Card and informed us that we will get our passports in just a week's time.

Within next five days of our application the postman was at our door to deliver us our passports. I submitted all copies of passports and just after 2 weeks we all went to Hong Kong for our first International holiday. My kids really enjoyed a lot and all credit goes to UIDAI as now one can get his/her passport in 10 days only in case one holds a valid Aadhaar Card.

Your 12 digit identification number on Aadhar card is really very beneficial for availing other benefits like opening a bank account or even getting LPG Gas subsidy. Considering the increasing acceptance of Aadhaar card it is must for everyone to get it issued. It is believed that the card will further be given more importance as more and more government schemes are being launched requiring it as a mandatory document.
